Tijana Grumić (1993) is a Serbian playwright and dramaturge with extensive experience working in theatre. She is the author of more than ten plays that have been staged in theatres around Serbia, as well as in Slovenia, Croatia, Georgia, Italy and Germany. Her plays were translated into English, German, Italian, Russian, Polish, Slovenian and Georgian languages, and published in several reviews and anthologies. Apart from playwriting, she works as a dramaturge and has won several awards for her theatre work, including the 2024 Inspirational Playwright Award, as one of three playwrights from around the world, presented every three years by the Write Local Play Global network and the Assitej Executive Committee. In 2021, she worked as a narrative game designer at Mad Head Games, and from 2023 to 2025, she served as a co-curator of the BITEF festival. She is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. Tijana writes for both young audiences and adults, with a particular interest in exploring human–animal relations and non-anthropocentric narratives.
